These conditions govern the Share Kaikana referral and reward programme and supplement the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
1. How it works
A customer who has completed a valid purchase may share their personal link with another teacher, school, or organization. If the invited customer meets the requirements and completes their first eligible purchase, they receive 50% off and the referrer receives 50% off their next Kaikana musical.
2. Who may refer
- The referrer must be an identified customer who has completed at least one valid purchase.
- The link is personal and must be shared in good faith with a third party who may genuinely be interested in Kaikana.
- Kaikana may suspend referral access when it detects fraud, automated use, false information, or a breach of these conditions.
3. Who may use the invited-customer discount
- The invited customer, school, or organization must be genuinely new to Kaikana.
- The discount applies only to the first eligible validated purchase.
- It may not be used for a self-referral, a related account, or an institution that has already purchased.
- It cannot be combined with welcome, repeat-customer, referral-reward, or other discounts.
4. Discount and reward
An eligible invited customer receives 50% off their first purchase. The referrer receives 50% off their next musical after the invited customer’s payment has been confirmed and the attribution has been accepted as valid.
The reward is personal, single-use, linked to the relevant account and customer, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be replaced by another benefit.
5. Validation and manual review
To protect the programme, Kaikana may compare email, domain, institution name, tax ID/VAT number, address, country, order history, account, payment data, and other reasonable matches. A referral may be approved automatically, placed under manual review, or rejected.
During manual review, the discount is not applied until a decision is made. Kaikana may request additional information to confirm that the referrer and invited customer are independent parties and that the purchase meets these conditions.
6. Prohibited uses
- Referring yourself or using linked identities, emails, or institutions to simulate a new customer.
- Creating duplicate accounts, orders, or institutions to obtain additional discounts.
- Publishing the link in a mass, automated, or misleading way as though it were a public coupon.
- Providing false, incomplete, or manipulated information.
- Attempting to combine the benefit with other codes or bypass technical controls.
7. Cancellation, blocking, or correction
Kaikana may block, reject, correct, or cancel a referral or reward in cases of self-referral, duplication, abuse, fraud, chargeback, payment reversal, cancelled order, technical error, breach of these conditions, or legal obligation. A reward already used is protected against ordinary administrative changes, without limiting measures required for confirmed fraud, manifest error, or legal compliance.
8. Duration and changes
The programme may be changed, suspended, or ended. Future changes will be published on this page and applied prospectively. Where a reward has an expiry date, it will be shown when issued or in the customer account. If no date is shown, no duration other than the programme’s current configuration should be assumed.
9. Privacy and tracking technologies
Attribution uses first-party cookies, local storage, and technical identifiers to remember the invitation, connect the visit to checkout, and prevent abuse. Details about purposes and retention periods are available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
